Zen by TERA

“Zen” is the new band from Tera Pancake House, each dish designed by our French Cordon Bleu chef. They specialise in white curry udon and shaved ice. The food is served in a Zen-like interior.

White curry udon is a big hit in Japan and Korea, and now it’s come to Hong Kong! The combination of ingredients brings a new sense of food: the soup is made with carrots, onions, apples and other fresh seasonal vegetables cooked fresh every day, and the sweet and spicy Japanese curry is poured over the Japanese-made udon. The fresh cream of mashed potatoes for the topping is the soul of the whole bowl, cold and hot from the bottom, it is intimately connected with the fresh cream of mashed potatoes, which melts in the mouth and brings out the aroma of fresh cream to make the curry smoother and sweeter. The curry can also be mixed well to make it thicker.

Kakigori(shaved ice) comes from the famous Shirakawa-go in Japan: the water from the Shirakawa River, which has been honoured as one of the top ten most famous water sources in Japan, stays at a temperature of around 14°C all year round, making the spring water soft and sweet. Shaved ice made with spring water is smooth and sweet.

The donburi (rice bowl) served to our customers is also carefully prepared. The white rice from Iwate Prefecture is pearly and shiny; the bright orange-red egg yolks come from Izumo Farm in Deguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture; and the chickens are vaccinated against salmonella to reduce the risk of salmonella infection.
