Marithé & François Gerbaud is a brand created by Marithé Bacheellerie and François Girbaud. Since its launch in France in 1972, it has developed stonewashing, baggy jeans, and engineered jeans for the first time in the world. The brand has continued to present unique and experimental collections based on denim, and its reputation has been maintained. The denim brand that was very popular in Korea in the 1990s has been casually reinterpreted to fit modern lifestyles, and the new‘Marithé François Gerbaud’ is presented in 2019.
